Bulboacă & Associates starts 2012 with promotions within the team: Two new
partners and three Senior Associates
The law firm of Bulboacă & Associates is delighted to announce two new
partners: Ioana Radu Motofei and Costin Teodorovici. The decision brings the number
of partners at the firm to eight.
At the same time, three lawyers were promoted to Senior Associate - Raluca Ciocârlan,
Voichita Lefter, and Diana Mihaela Teodorescu.

of the operation of the firm, who have made a significant contribution to the firm's
business development, and who have also raised the quality of services provided
to our clients. These promotions also support our strategic approach in key areas
of activity - corporate M&A, private equity, competition, energy, banking, employment,
and litigation", Adrian-Catalin Bulboaca, managing partner of Bulboacă
& Associates, said.
Ioana Radu Motofei, partner, is 29 years old and focuses on litigation, corporate
M&A and employment. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2005, and
she has been with Bulboaca & Associates since 2007. Ioana is fluent in English
and French.
Ioana has assisted clients in complex projects, including Schroder Investment Management
Limited in a dispute against the Property Fund, Portuguese consortium Martifer (Prio
Foods) in connection with the sale of large areas of land/construction, and Kraft
Foods Romania in closing the plant in Brasov.
Costin Teodorovici, partner, 30 years old, specializes in banking, corporate
M&A and competition. He has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since
2005, and he joined the firm in 2008. Costin speaks fluent English and French.
Costin has assisted clients in complex projects such as financing by a Greek bank
of the acquisition of the company owning Doraly shopping center, the acquisition
by Wipro Technologies of a division of the Alcatel Lucent (involving the transfer
of over 400 employees), representing Allianz Tiriac - Allianz Insurance and Private
Pensions in a Competition Council investigation of the private pensions administration
market in Romania.
The lawyers promoted to Senior Associate will focus on the following practice areas:

Bulboaca & Asociatii - seminar regarding competition law related aspects
Bulboaca & Asociatii SCA organised on Friday, the 27th of May 2011, at the Intercontinental
Hotel Bucharest, a seminar regarding theoretical and practical competition law related
aspects. Among the participants there were a great number of representatives from

Bulboaca & Asociatii SCA has been selected by the Ministry of Public Finance
to advise the Romanian State for the period 2010 - 2012 in connection
with the legal assistance and representation of Romania or other public institutions
before the International Arbitration Court of the International Centre for the Settlement
of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
