Valentin is a Partner at Bulboaca & Asociatii SCA.

Before joining Bulboaca & Asociatii, Valentin was an Associate with the competition and litigation practice of the Bucharest office of a Magic Circle law firm

He specialises in competition, intellectual property and litigation related thereto. Valentin has successfully coordinated the defence of a pharmaceutical company in one of the largest anti-trust investigations in Romania to date, which resulted in the first substantial fine reduction granted by a Romanian court. He is also a certified intellectual property counsellor for trademarks and industrial designs and an assisting professor teaching Contract Law at the Bucharest Law University.

Also, Valentin has been selected by the prestigious publication The International Who's Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists 2012 among the top 8 competition lawyers in Romania.

He graduated from the Law School of the Bucharest University and from the University of Paris I, Pantheone - Sorbonne, Faculty of European Law. He is a member of the Romanian Bar Association. He is fluent in English and French.
