Bulboaca & Asociatii SCA has been selected by the Ministry of Public Finance to advise the Romanian State for the period 2010 - 2012 in connection with the legal assistance and representation of Romania or other public institutions before the International Arbitration Court of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).

Bulboaca & Asociatii SCA is the first law firm to have obtained a fine reduction (of approximately 70%) based on an alleviating circumstance in a cartel case before a Romanian court. Our firm has successfully advised and represented a pharmaceutical company in connection with obtaining, through a final court decision, of a reduction of approximately 70% of the fine imposed by the Romanian Competition Council to a pharmaceutical company in the most important anti-trust case in Romania to date (with total fines applied to all parties involved exceeding EUR 30,000,000); this is the first case in Romania to date in which a law firm obtained a fine reduction based on an alleviating circumstance in a cartel case before a Romanian court.
